So Fresh So Clean is a London-based company specialising in creating bespoke Shopify and Shopify Plus stores for eco-friendly, sustainable, and socially conscious businesses. Their mission is to redefine public perception by converting 1,000,000 customers from traditional brands to those championing positive change. They aim to empower ethical brands by providing stunning designs and intuitive functionality, enabling these businesses to thrive online.

 

The brief

So Fresh So Clean approached me to create a brand identity from the ground up, focusing on defining the brand’s purpose, personality, positioning and visual identity.  As a young company in its early stages,  they sought a highly graphic and illustrative approach that would capture attention and align with their vision of empowering ethical and sustainable businesses. The goal was to craft a bold and impactful brand that not only communicated their purpose effectively but also positioned them as a creative and forward-thinking partner for eco-conscious brands.

The approach

The branding journey kicked off with an immersive one-day workshop, bringing together stakeholders and team members to share insights on the business identity, mission, and future direction. From there, we dove deep into research and analysis, exploring the industry landscape, audience needs, and core brand aspirations. Without an existing identity to refine, I focused on crafting the brand – establishing a clear vision, defining key messaging, and shaping a strategic foundation for growth.

 

The identity

Guided by data and audience insights, we redefined the brand to create a fresh, impactful identity. This strategic foundation shaped the development of a new name, visual language, and communication approach, ensuring the brand’s next chapter is bold, purposeful, and built to grow.
